Our Mission

At the Organization for People’s Health in Action (OPHA), our mission is to:

  • Enhance Health and Well-Being: Provide accessible, equitable, and high-quality healthcare services to underserved communities in Afghanistan, ensuring healthier lives for all.
  • Empower Through Education: Promote education as a foundation for development by building schools, supporting teachers, and ensuring access to learning for children, especially girls, in rural areas.
  • Ensure Food Security: Combat hunger and malnutrition by delivering emergency food aid, supporting sustainable agricultural practices, and empowering communities to achieve long-term food independence.
  • Promote Clean Water and Sanitation: Improve public health by ensuring access to safe drinking water, proper sanitation facilities, and hygiene education.
  • Foster Community Resilience: Empower individuals through skill-building programs, economic opportunities, and support for small-scale enterprises, fostering independence and self-reliance.
