INTRODUCTION:
Organization for People’s Health in Action (OPHA) is a nongovernmental, non- religious, non-political, non-profit and non-military organization, working for development of Afghanistan through implementation of health, community development, capacity development, women and youth empowerment projects in Afghanistan.
OPHA is established in Oct 2017 and is registered with the Ministry of Economy.
OPHA has started its first project under the name of Sehatmandi in partnership with Care of Afghan

Duties responsibilities
General Responsibilities and duties-
1- Coordination & Communication and reporting:
- Oversee the assessment, tracking, and reporting of specific learning outcomes.
- Closely monitor program content, providing detailed written and verbal evaluations of administration
- Plan, organize, review the implementation of the project workplan and training plan
- Attend, observe and evaluate programs monthly to ensure high quality instruction and Activities are being achieved.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to the relevant project staffon an ongoing basis.with the Program Director,
- Coordinate the purchasing of supplies/materials, within designated budgets.
- Ensure all supplies are received and prepared prior to the start of program delivery.
- Have quarterly basis onsite program monitoring from relevant project
2- Leadership & Management:
- Lead health team in HQ and Provincial offices toward project and organizational objective achievement
- Attend various professional development and training sessions as intended
- In collaboration with other administrative staff, overseeing the implementation of various policies, procedures and processes provide ongoing leadership to and directly supervise the performance of relevant project staff (monthly performance observation, creating written diaries on the strengths and areas of improvement and providing written as well as verbal constructive feedback).
3-Administration:
- Contribute regarding purchasing, finance, payroll facilities ensure program information, computer files, project materials are recorded/stored in appropriate manner
- Respond to project stakeholders inquiries (in- person, email and phone) regarding program content,staff, policies, schedules, activities and their overall satisfaction in close coordination with program director.
4-Capacity building:
- Ensure specific and over all capacity building activities/agenda are applied for HQ health team as well project staff.
5-Reporting:
- Prepare and regularly report his/her activity to the line manger prepare and review project monthly activity report then send to program director review .
6-Job Requirements
- Certified MD
- Have more than (5) years’ experience in BPHS ,EPHS or health related projects
- Previous experience of managerial or leadership positions.
- Highly flexible in routine tasks and assignments
- Excellent computer skills ( Ms .Word, Excell,power point)
- Strong communication skill in two national languages and English is very important
- Strong report writing and analytical skills
